Non-decomposabl
Created during a residency in Rasht, this project was inspired by plastic sheets trapped among riverside trees after heavy rainfall caused the Zarrjub River to overflow. Their unexpected resemblance to human and animal bodies led me to collect these materials, together with scattered tree roots, and transform them into sculptural forms.
Combining organic and synthetic elements, the work explores the fragile relationship between natural processes and human-made waste, creating hybrid bodies that exist between growth, decay, and transformation.
